Pontypool Road Cycling Club is the longest established cycling club in Pontypool and the Torfaen area. We are affiliated to the recognised national cycling governing bodies, and have two British Cycling registered coaches.   Regular club runs take place every Saturday & Sunday. The Saturday club run meeting point is Pontypool Harvester car park at 1.40pm. This is a faster paced ride which runs weekly through the Autumn & Winter and in the absence of any competitive events during the Spring & Summer. If you are interested attending on the Saturday please contact Dax Jenkins or Chris Morris to confirm that it is being run that week.  The Sunday club run leaves every week from the bus stop at Cwmoody(old Parke-Davies factory), Pontymoile at 9:30am. These runs cater for all abilities and can be as long or as short as you want.   Through the summer we hold a weekly 10ml Time Trial starting 7:00pm at Llancayo, nr Usk. The winter sees the club at the velodrome - Newport, every Wednesday 8 - 9:30pm.   So whether your interested in recreatational cycling, touring, racing of any kind, your welcome to come and join us, or just enjoy our site.
